The price of admission ticket for visitors to Tanah Lot tourist attraction will be increased by 100 percent.It starts increasing from 1st October 2016. The increase applies to local and foreign visitors. This was revealed at the evaluation meeting of the Tanah Lot management board, Monday (Aug. 1). The meeting was attended by the Regent of Tabanan Regency, Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti.
Considering that Tanah Lot is a heritage owned by Tabanan regency that must be grateful, it should have good access to get to the attraction. All the incomplete programs should be continued in order to get optimal results. Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti said: “Tanah Lot tourist attraction continues to improve services for visitors. Even it has been good, it still needs improvement considering that Tanah Lot object is a world tourist destination playing very important role in terms of the contribution to Balinese Tourism."
Operations Managers of Tanah Lot tourist attraction, I Ketut Toya Adnyana, said that the gross revenue earned during 2016 reached IDR 33.81 billion more. In the meantime, the net income reached IDR 22.79 billion more. When it is compared to the data in 2015, the amount of the gross revenue increased by around IDR 29.82 billion, while the net income reached IDR 19.93 billion more.
He also said: "The increase of tourist visit to Tanah Lot in 2015, added Toya Adnyana, amounted to 1,539,085 people, while in 2016 amounted to 1,692,481 people. The number of tourist visit has not yet reached the target because Tanah Lot set the visit at 2,558,210 people. So numbers of programs have not been able to be implemented include the main parking lot refurbishment, road repair at the object area, the arrangement of ticket booths and ticket checking arrangement."
So, according to decree of the chairman of Tanah Lot No. 3/BP/DTWTL/VIII/2016 about entrance fee in Tanah Lot, we inform that Tanah Lot Entrance Ticket is about to increase, and will start from October 1st, 2016.
New Entrance Fee :
Domestic Child : Rp. 15.000
Domestic Adult : Rp. 20.000
Foreign Child : Rp. 30.000
Foreign Adult : Rp. 60.000
